1. Don't have link as these things never become public but if you are lucky to be close enough with people around Raj during student union days you will learn his affection with "Chamdi". Believe he won't be continuing with same now.
2. As far as being competent , It's univarsal truth that you become competent by learning and working hard and not by beating poor people on road. It would have been better to organise some skill learning camps for Marathis instead. And there are people doing that. I've lived in West for several years and I'm proud that we celebrated Ganeshotsav, Navratri and Diwali without any hassle from local people. The dilema is there are people who are really working hard and getting money back to Maharashtra for it's betterment bur people like Raj are trying to pull Maharashtra in 18th century where you try to take things by power and not by your ability.
3. Have you ever heard of Raj (and there are some others too) owning money worth buying mill lands? Where the 100's of crores suddenly came from while they were in Power? Haven't you read the Murder cases against him during Sena Regim in the newspapers? I do not disagree with Powar famili's comment but have to say that they have done far good things for Maharashtra than Thakares. If my Neighbour is a theif does not mean that I also become a theif.
4. During terrorist attack he might be doing n number of things but we definately needed him to make one statement from him showing the solidarity. He has absolutely behaved like cowards (which is expected from a person like him).
My last few words..
I 100% agree that Maharashrians should get preference in Maharashtra and so do Mumbaikars (Kolis) in Mumbai but our constitution never allows beating and killing innocent people who move to different part of coutry for their livelyhood. Imagine all states in India start doing that, then what will happen?
My feeling was the followers of Raj are only poor and less educated people who just follow orders blindly without much emphasis on good or bad.
It is a cause of concern when the intellectuals start following such nonsense.Think and try to gather information before blindly following.
Why he is not educating his kids in Marathi? Because he don't want him to be left behind with the owls following him.
Finally as I said there's no point in wasting my energy in this so I'm not going to reply further. Wether to take it or leave it is the decision of yours. I'll better invest my effort in learning something valuable which will make me more competitive ;-)
